Our Founder
The Founder and owner of AgMachine Global is Trevor Cree. He gained his B.Sc (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., in 1972. Trevor then commenced his professional career with the Ministry of Agriculture in New Zealand. However, following a desire to work globally, he joined the Tropical Products Institute in the U.K. specialising in crop drying, storage and post-harvest loss assessment, undertaking assignments in Malaysia, Lesotho and Liberia. In 1978 he joined Dalgety Agricultural Development International as an agricultural engineering consultant, working in Botswana, Sudan, Tanzania and Oman. In 1981 he joined Agrisystems, U.K. as a freelance consultant working in the Sudan, Morocco, Jordan, Pakistan, China, Syria, Iraq, Vietnam, Tanzania, Laos, Kenya, Nepal, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Yemen, Iran, Sierra Leone, Moldova, Albania, Serbia, North Korea and Samoa.
During his long career Trevor undertook assignments for the UN Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO); Ministry of Agriculture, New Zealand; UK Overseas Development Administration (ODA); World Bank; United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR); European Union (EU); United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
