Robotic milking machinery, also known as automatic milking systems (AMS) or voluntary milking systems (VMS), automates the process of milking cows, allowing them to be milked on their own schedule. Cows enter a designated area where a robotic arm identifies, cleans, and attaches to the teats, then milks them individually. The system collects data on each cow, including milk yield and udder health, and can even provide individual feed rations.
